He produced the greatest fighter of all time, but Floyd Mayweather Sr. is the best trainer of all times.

Floyd Sr. has turned who into a great fighter? Not Floyd Jr. Junior emulates his uncle's mongoose style. His dad made Floyd Jr. focus largely on defense. Floyd Jr. is probably the best defensive fighter today, one of the best ever.

Cus D'Mato got lucky finding Mike Tyson. I like to think of D'Mato as the best trainer. But, I often wonder, what would Tyson have been like if he had started with other trainers? It is hard to imagine Tyson using a style that isn't his famous peek-a-boo style. It is likely that another trainer would've taught Tyson the same basic style. D'Mato did make sure Tyson was great with head movement and speed though. I don't know if another trainer would have.

D'Amato probably had the best mind of boxing ever for somebody who never was a boxer. Everybody went to him for advise (Robinson, Ali, you name it). He was apparently the grandmaster of turning useless bums into NYC Golden Gloves winners, but never advised professional boxing to anybody (WTF?).

Eddie Futch helped Frazier and Norton develop a strategy to beat Ali. If you could out think Ali in a boxing ring you have my respect. He trained 20 champions including Bob Foster, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Alexis Arguello, Marlon Starling, Virgil Hill, Wayne McCullough, Michael Spinks, Larry Holmes, and Rid**** Bowe.

i dont think the peek a boo style would suit peter, he aint got the speed and is taller.

People hate on Teddy Atlas because he only had like six amateur fights and that's his boxing background, but he learned how to train boxers from CUS D'AMATO for ****sake so his opinion is very valid!
