Exactly right, smh at the common fool who thinks commissions are some kind of moral authority, they don't give a **** about the sport if its not in a cash making respect and :lol1; if anyone thinks they are some independent neutral party.

Basically. You have the former head of the Nevada Medical Advisory Board stating that commissions are too scared to lose business and folks are saying we should wait on them. Mike Tyson and Holyfield did their own testing YEARS before commissions got around to realizing steroid testing wasn't a bad idea.

Yeah, by request of Tyson I believe, I can't understand how anyone bought that hematoma(sp?) excuse from the commission, I've had people copy and paste the actual excuse like its a valid argument, its insane.

every fighter is not clean, in fact I think it is probably more fighters that are dirty then they are CLEAN...

The Athletic Commission knows, they are more then willing to let you get away with taking stuff just based on how they test, they let you know when your test is coming...basically giving your plenty of time to prepare and do what you have to do to "PASS"

It is so many design drugs out now that don't even show up in certain test...ESPECIALLY URINE TEST!

People are basically turning their heads in boxing so they can KEEP MAKING MONEY!

Only reason why people are against STRONGER TEST is because Mayweather suggested it...but in all actuality...HE IS 100% RIGHT! The Athletic Commission KNOW it is all types of Drugs out their now, their testing should have changed YEARS AGO LONG BEFORE MAYWEATHER SUGGESTED IT! But again they are not really trying to catch "CHEATERS" they just have the testing in place to keep the Government and others off their back about "TESTING" Baseball has a testing policy also...but that didn't keep guys from USING STEROIDS, not only using it but also GETTING AWAY WITH IT!

You'd think athletes by the hundreds in the Olympics were falling over and dying mid-race over a blood test the way these clowns tell it.

There argument always boils down to "I'm for better testing if...:

                "Someone else suggested it."

"If we wait 25 years for the commission to do it"

                "If blah blah blah bull****"

Herd mentality. That and...the realization that not everyone looks up to their hero like they do. Not to mention the growing reality that said hero may in fact, be juicing. Oh, the horror.

Honestly, I'm not too concerned with "clean" or "dirty" fighters. Just don't really care.

That being said, there is no way to clean up the sport. The simple fact of the matter is that all tests have been proven to be beatable. From Olympic-style testing, to the testing that we have in place with most boxing now.

No playing field is ever even, for the record. If you train at a better place because you can afford it, but your opponent doesn't or cannot, then you have an advantage. An advantage is an advantage.

We only consider steroids to be wrong because they are illegal.
