Right, but that's what Rhodes wants. And if it does go to purse bid and GBP balks, then Canelo will be stripped of the title (which he never really earned to begin with). The ball is in Ryan Rhodes court now. Either he get's the money he wants or gets to fight for the vacant title against someone else. The only difference is Rhodes won't get a gimme like Canelo got vs. Hatton...

If that happens rhodes will proably will have to face angulo a more difficult fight. If he really wanted the shot at a tittle as he states he does he should just take the short money bc if he wins and beats canelo the money will come. Unless its a really low amount.
