He's comparing the Pacquiao he fought to the Gamboa he fought.

How hard the 147 Pacquiao hits isn't really relevant. Especially when we have no idea how hard Gamboa could hit at 147. He's not taking anything away from Pac, he was simply giving Gamboa some credit.

well, anyone would say that after getting stopped like that. i think it's true though, gamboa is the real deal. he just needs to work on a couple things for now, but overall, he is a beast right now...

The fight was at 126 man.

I've seen the pacman fight... Pacman hit solis a LOT before the 8th round TKO.

He practically broke him down then knocked him out... Gamboa barely had to lay hands on the dude. Each time he touched him he put him down.

He hits harder at 126 Pac is currently at welterweight dont get your panties in a bunch cause u love Manny what solis said is Manny is a non stop punching machine Gamboa hits harder actually and solis had been dropped only 4 times in hes career prior to this fight he got dropped 5 times in this fight alone, Gamboa was trying to make a point period, Solis just had the bad luck to be the victim....my favorite part was when he got asked "what is it like to fight gamboa?" *wide eyes* TERRIBLE!

            Another idiot....

Pac is at 147 for dumb ass. Do you seriously think a 130lbs pac would knock down cotto?

Pac is braking orbital bones and knocking dudes out cold at higher weight classes.

Maybe he hits harder than Pac did at that weight.

              who knows
He's only knocked one guy out cold at a higher weight....no need to stretch the truth.

Who cares if Gamboa hits harder than Pac?
Pac is already a legend of the sport. Gamboa, well we dont know yet how far he can go.

                  It's a measuring stick.

He spent most of his prime years fighting as an amateur in Cuba. Don't forget he only started pro in 2007. He's 29 now with only 20 pro fights. He's not an old man in boxing terms but he's not 21 either. He looks younger than he is though, and he stays in great shape so that's a good thing for his career so far. I just hope he can fight Chris John or Lopez and then move up to SFW and LW. Would be interesting to see Gamboa at 130 because he's so short but so strong and fast that it's like you almost want to imagine him at 147 but it's hard to go up from so low to that high and keep your power unless you're on PED's.
