Comments Thread For: Golovkin vs N’Jikam is Tentative For May/June in Monaco

According to Oleg Hermann, manager of sparkling Kazakh middleweight ****er Gennady Golovkin (20-0, 17 KOs), his protégé will fight Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam (25-0, 17 KOs) of France in his next outing. A thrilling clash between two undefeated prospects will also be a partial unification of the WBA title: N’Jikam, 27, is the WBA interim champion, and the former amateur superstar Golovkin, 28, holds the “regular” title. Quotes are necessary as the World Boxing Association not-so-surprisingly has three beltholders in this particular weight class. The “super” title belongs to German stalwart Felix Strum (35-2-1, 15 KOs), 32.

, get back at me when this fight is "firm". Im all over it at that point. Would be a great style matchup and exciting fight.

Mw is heating up. Will be like smw, bantam, jww, and fw soon.

IMO N'jikam won't agree. He and his handlers avoided GG too well to this point.

Correct. N'Jikam will continue to avoid Golovkin.

I agree and if they did fight, N'jikam gets brutally KO'ed.

oh wow this is EXCELLENT news. Talk about slick black fighters - N'jikam is prolly the slickest out there. He's not really super slick in regards to upper body movement like sweet pea, james toney, or even chris byrd, but he has very fast, excellent legs and feet. Prototypical outside fighter. He bounces around - pops out a nice hard straight jab, and can follow it up with a pretty nice straight right.

His style is my favorite to watch because he doesn't "run", he just moves and he constantly shoots out a sweet jab from range.

I suggest watching his last fight against that little 5'5'' MW, who is a little beast! he managed to find a way inside past n'jikams jab and straight, and went to work a little. BUT, Golovkin doesn't present the same stylistic problems as such a short statured fighter with short arms who can turn over quick, powerful punches on the inside against a guy like N'dam.

Hope it happens and even better, after Golovkin wins by KO, the WBA puts pressure on "super" belt-holder Sturm to fight him

                  Hassan N'dam should stop running.

either way I hope Lorenzo beats Hassan n'dam in france (doubtful, corrupt judges) cuz Lorenzo wont miss his next title shot.

Golovkin knocks out both, n'dam and lorenzo. that will be bump for the WBA champ Sturm who went the full 12 with lorenzo.
