Comments Thread For: McCloskey: Hey Khan, Sparring With Pacquiao Won't Help!

Unbeaten European champion Paul McCloskey is not concerned with Amir Khan's training benefit of being able to spar with the pound for pound king, Manny Pacquiao. Both boxers are trained by Freddie Roach. McCloskey challenges Khan for the WBA 140-pound title on April 16 at the MEN Arena in Manchester.

Doesn't really matter if it helps or not, and I'm not even sure they'll spar this time since Manny hasn't started sparring yet atleast.

Anyway, sparring with Manny or not, he'll beat you.

              What like Maidana?

An exhausted Maidana still hits harder than a fresh McCloskey

Khan just opened his big mouth about sparring with Pacquiao just to get attention.

Pacquiao's team won't let Manny spar with him because they view him as a future opponent, so the sparring thing was just a premature comment by Khan.

If you really want to know who's sparring with Khan, it's David Rodela and two Filipino southpaws.
