I wouldn't really call it a rivalry, because there isn't any debate about who Filipinos love more. Pacquiao is the man.

Also, man does he need to chill with the Pacquiao is perfect crap.

What rivalry are you talking about, there's no rivalry here do your article right moron. Nonito has said many times he's happy to be #2 behind Manny. Pac always support a Filipino fighter like Donaire. The rip is between Top Rank and Golden Boy a promotion that try to destroy Pinoy fighters.

That's it, when I see Ronnie, I might smack his head.

              This article is utter BS.

lol @ not benefiting Arum financially, ironic since Nonito left TR.

No point on this article. There is no such rivalry, Nonito already explained that in his last fight.

Damn, I would want to leave Top Rank too if I were Nonito Donaire. If the guy I was hiring to represent ME and MY career basically flat out said "Screw what's best for YOU, It doesn't make ME more money", I would leave too. I think Arum forgets that he is supposed to be working for the client (of course he's in it to make money too, I know), and that his priority is supposed to be what the CLIENT wants.

Even though Nonito is surely in for a long ride with some legal issues over his contract, I can't blame the guy one bit for doing what's best for him and his career. And, I think this whole "Filipino rivalry" is more of a media creation, and them trying to ruffle feathers to create media interest for themselves. Oh, and of course 'Bitter Bob', who took more offense to Rachel Donaire making a comment about how Jinkee dresses then the Pacquiaos themselves. Let it go Bob, or stay bitter to the end - I don't really care.
