Funny he said that in like 2004. Hmm I'm still waiting for boxing to die. Pac and floyd selling out stadiums, klitchko bros still dominating and selling out Europe, tons of up and coming talent like gamboa, rigo, saul alvarez

I thought boxing was about to die? lmao!

Kimbo didn't make it 1 sparring session when he tried boxing, but he made it like 10 MMA fights and full training camps.

LHW champ jon jones has only been training MMA for 2 years, and he is the champ. That would never happen in boxing lol 2 years you can't even hit a heavy bag correctly yet

and boxings base is in all latinos, most blacks, white people, now asians etc. It has a huge base. MMA just has middle class white kids with affliction shirts.
Your being a little hard on MMA. I train young fighters and once in a while we will get some MMA guys stop by and spar and train with us to learn more boxing.

I have gained a lot of respect for MMA, what they do is very tough. The problem is, no human being can become a master of all things, so you never see an MMA guys who is as good as boxer as he is a wrestler for example.

You might get a great BJJ guy or a great wrestler.

MMA is organized fighting, Boxing is a sport.

                  1. Kimbo didn't make it in boxing he was kicked out of the UFC over a year ago.

                  2. I don't know if you are European or not but in the US we have this thing call college wrestling and Brock Lesner was a national champion. He was the best wrestler in the country in hie weight class in his senior year of college. So no he didn't just win it in 4 fights like you think he did. He had years and years fo grappling experience before he made the jump to MMA.

                  3. Unlike boxing there is no really Amature MMA throught the world but boxing didn't have that in it's first 10 years of existance either.

The fact that nothing you said there was even remotley true shows me how thretened you are by MMA.

Again john jones was a state and National champion wrestler, he had also been training Muy Thai kickboxing for years and years and years. His brothers play in the NFL so he also has freakish athleticism in his blood.

And Kimbo had 6 fights not ***ing 10! Obviously someone who cant count should never be taken seriously.

                      1. All but 2 of the UFC champs are white the rest are either Black, Hispanic, or both.

                      2. How exactly is boxing harder? I don't see how you could even begin to defend that opinion?
