I think the most exciting fighters are the calculating fighters. A guy like JMM is more exciting than any face first brawler imo.

you didn't say "face first" brawler you just said brawler. While johnson does have some head movement and underrated defense, he is all action and never stops coming forward, so yeah he does eat a lot of shots.

he's an exception though, his chin is made out of some type of steel.

You're right. Guys like Tyson, Dempsey, Marciano, Trinidad, Hatton and Frazier had short destructive careers before losing those special attributes which made them vicious.
