Gamboa future... moving up and dominating??

do you think gamboa will be able to move up in weight class and dominate like pac.... or will he simply be king of 126??

do you think he could do it..

im worried about that chin, especially if he moves up and faces guys that hit harder than the 126 meat he's facing currently

Don't think so. Dude is small but very stocky. maybe 130? beyond that he doesn't have the body structure to move up.

From the very beginning, I saw Gamboa's ability to successfully move up in weight as limited. It's a shame, because the guy is a special talent. I don't see him going past 135, maybe 140, tops. He's 5'5 1/2", and his physique is already pretty pumped. Going up in weight will probably mean putting on too much fat. His frame can't handle much more quality weight.

well the one thing about him moving up... is that well, you know.. his chin is kind of su****ious.. so i mean, can he handle punches from 135 guys and 140 guys.. idk...maybe, maybe not....

i see a bright future with this kid.... but i just dont know if about his chances of moving up.....

he's got plenty action at 126, his arms are just too short for 135

I'm not too concerned with his chin, TBH. IMO, the knockdowns Gamboa has suffered were due to being off-balance. He's never been hurt. I just think his frame is too small to handle too much extra weight.

so 135 is probably the farthest he will go.. moving up... maybe 140

what about the possibility of him moving down in weight say to 122 or 118??

I think 135 is more likely his limit. 140 is just an outside possibility. You never know.

As for moving down in weight, a guy with Gamboa's promise rarely does that. The lower weights, sadly, get less attention. The objective is to move up, if possible, and gain more exposure.

it really is a shame... if only gamboa was born with the perfect frame.. for moving up in weight...
