juanma did his part to try and make this fight happen by going in the ring. hopefully gamboa does the same when juanma fights in april.

smart move by Juanma...it was a good look for him to show that he is willingly to mix it up with Gamboa....I mean he didn't do that with Cab and it wasn't a good look but luckly Jason got Cab up off his back for him

People need to chill. it's gonna happen. But TBH I agree with Arum making as big as can be because that way one of them can emerge as a true superstar of the sport.

If the fight happened now only us boxing fans would get excited and watch it and neither will blow up in popularity. We need the casual fans for our sport to really flourish. We need one these 2 to take Pacman and mayweathers spot and the only way to do that is make their fight as big as possible.

I think that's probably not too far from the truth. Still, I think both do want the fight now more than Bob Arum does.

Nonetheless, I also noticed two more things.

              1. When Kellermen said, "Wow," Gamboa had this look on his face of, "Yeah, I know. I'm pretty impressive."

              2. Gamboa was essentially talking **** right in front of Lopez, and I didn't even know that he was at ringside or what have you. Then, Lopez walks up and they greet like old running buddies. Lol.

Deep down he knows Gamboa has the skills to move up and make a huge name for himself without him. So when he heard Gamboa say I'll be looking for belts in higher weight classes he rushed to make a public showing of interest. This will buy Arum more time to bull**** around. I think it will stall Yuri for a fight or two. Its simple, Lopez has the bigger following right now but Gamboa will be the bigger future star.
Bad move by JuanMa. He seemed too eager to get in the same ring as Gamboa to verbally defend his honor when he isn't getting in the same ring to fight him.

Yeah I was gon let that subject pass but Gamboa was arrogant as hell. He kinda played Lopez to the left. But ...Yuri's a nice guy too. When they fight its gonna be violent.

What do you mean? You dont think they'll fight soon. I do because Lopez did what he did. He might have bit off too much.
