Atlantic City showed the featherweights a lot of love last night

I really didn't expect it to be that packed, I thought it be some open seats. We looked like a can of sardines.

Some boxers showed up JuanMa, wv2, Kendall Holt and Brandon Jacobs was being mauled by the fans.

The entire card was great, Mikey's fight was a little boring but you have to understand that he's a technical fighter who breaks people down. But some in NSB and in the crowd don't understand the sweet science of breaking a fighter down.

Yes Gamboa looked very impressive last night, but he was supposed to. Much like Pirog was supposed to look good against Maciel but didn't do too well. Gamboa got the job done, but to think that Mikey doesn't have a chance against Gamboa because he trashed Solis is absurd.

I hope you guys keep an eye on Mikey and keep up the support with the smaller divisions.

I got to hand it to HBO. So far so good for 2011 with more to come. Save for their two upcoming BS PPV's, they're putting a lot of good stuff on their network and some of these long term investments are starting to reap dividends.

I can see HBO and Showtime fighting for the rights to a Gamboa vs Lopez PPV, but like you said HBO upcoming PPV doesn't look good on paper, hopefully it doesn't disappoint in the ring.

It was funny cause only me and this one Mexican dude were cheering for Mikey. The crowd was restless but after they saw Mikey dissecting Remillard they started cheering.

I don't know if you guys saw after the fight when Mikey looked at JuanMa and pointed at himself with the #1 finger then JuanMa pointed at himself with #1 finger, I thought it was a funny moment.

I thought it was a cool venue. I like how it has some seats that go up on only one side, just different from most. The problem is it only holds 3,000 people. 3,000 is just way too tiny imo. Had they made it into a 6-8000 seat venue it would still be cozy, look nice on tv, and wouldn't shut out more fans that would want to see bigger fights.

I'd like to add that Atlantic City is just a really cool looking place. I've never been there but the shots of it off the water just make it look eerie in a cool area. I've been to Vegas many times but Atlantic City looks like a better place to just chill.

mikey is not intimidated by juanma or gamboa.Hes been vocal about
facing either of them. But i see arum keeping juanma and gamboa away
              from mikey.

The commentory for the garcia-remillard mentioned that crowd reaction was silence meaning it was a little dull but still a good fight.

I'm with you, I think they need to add more seats, or make a bigger arena. I just saw that Froch vs Johnson is schedule for AC, I thinking of going then too.

I don't think Mikey is afraid of either guy, but now his name has to be mentioned when the top guys at 126 are mentioned.

The crowd was restless but they got into it when Mikey started penetrating thru his defense.

My favorite part of last night was these two idiots talking about PAC vs PBF, in my head I was WTF? Let it go people
