nothing wrong with trying to do one better over Pac. that's a basic human reaction. it simply means more and more champions have their eye on challenging Pac now.
what other fighter in the planet has challengers ranging from 126 to 160?!?!?!
where do all roads lead to again?Comment

The first time I laid eyes on Gamboa was the 2004 Olympics. He looked absolutely impressive; the kind of talent you recognize when you see it: special. I thought he would wither on the vine, like so many other potential Cuban champions. When Yuri defected, I was really excited to finally see how he might do as a pro. I was happy for him, also, that his talent wouldn't go to waste. Tonight we saw the evolution of a superstar in the making.Comment

Hmmmm..... I think in a fight between Gamboa and Lopez after watching them both in action. I would have to lean towards Gamboa. The kid comes out explosive in the early rounds and if he gets off on Lopez then I can see him having enough attributes to win. If Gamboa fights Lopez's fight then Lopez could pull it off but I think Gamboa would be my favorite to win.Comment

Sounds like he wasn't comparing himself to Pacquiao but rather saying that he wanted to beat him faster. Sounds like motivation to me.Comment
