Fight could go either way considering that both have so so chins. Gamboa has the speed advantage but Juanma is a heavy hitter. Juanma's right hook is deadly and Gamboa leaves himself too open. It will come down to who lands and stuns their opponent first.
So Juanma said BRING GAMBOA!!!

Come on guys, to hell with the racist comments, let's talk about this fight. Truth is that styles make fights, whoever lands the first couple of big punches will eventually decide the fate of this fight.
One thing is true, Juanma has been fighting a lot more quality fighters than Gamboa has. I always thought that Rafeal Marquez would have given Gamboa a run for his money, even to the point of probably knocking him out if they ever fought, think about that one. I think Gamboa is a pretty good fighter but I also think he is overrated. I couldn't say the same thing about Juanma but I will admit that he still has a lot to learn. Does he have a weak chin? Well, they both have but it's how you finish a fight that counts.
About Juanma being afraid of Gamboa or vice versa? Come on fellas, when everything is said and done, boxing is ultimately a business, this fight will happen when everything comes together at the right moment. What kind of money do you think these 2 rookies are going to make if this happens now or in the next few months? Get my point? That's why it's so ****** to talk so much smack about racism here.
I really think that Juanma has a better chance on beating Gamboa once the fight goes over 7 or 8 rounds, I think he would be stronger at the end, this is just my humble opinion, I really think Gamboa needs to be tested and I will also go as far as to predict that Gamboa will lose a fight even before Juanma does. Now, tell me what you guys think, of course, leaving the childish racist comments to the side.....

HAHAHAHHAHA..great post. I'm so sick of this weak chinned crap. Dude has NEVER, EVER lost a fight, has a 95% KO% and his opponent tonight just said he hits harder than Pac.
He gets sloppy, so what? As long as he gets back up and dominates...it makes him an exciting guy to watch box. Weak chinned means you get KTFO after one punch.......and I haven't seen anything but dude getting careless at times and coming back to wreck shop. JuanMa on the other hand, has gotten so wobbled that he has had to hold on to survive a fight. Arum won't let them fight because JuanMA can fight nobodies on PPV and make money because of the PR following. If they did fight, We would see the most ferocious Gamboa ever and JunMa would end up on the Canvas 3 or 4 times before a stoppage.Comment

Olivier Lontchi gave him a hard time too. I don't know how these boricuas rate Juanma's chin higher than Gamboa's, but that is wishful thinking.Comment

I think Gamboa does have some speed advantages, and a great offense, but if people think JuanMa isn't going to touch Gamboa like Solis didn't, they are crazy.
JuanMa hits hard as ****, and has a nice right hook and sweet straight left hand.
I think if Gamboa gets hit with it early, he's going to be more cautious with JuanMa.
Great fight. I am leaning towards Gamboa, but I don't discount JuanMa at all, being a southpaw with power is always a dangerous risk.Comment
