His footwoork looked very good too. So long as he ups his cardio he'll be just fine. Especially if he lets his hands go in combinations a bit more and (in controlled bursts when appropriate) turns into a killer like he was as an amateur. Since he's been a pro when he hurts guys he doesn't go crazy, which is okay, but he does need to go a bit harder at them.

and i know he has a hell of a chin from the amateur days so no worries there, if you can walk through Cammarelle's shots you know he can take a hell of a shot.

he needs to put in more bodywork.

and he shells up on d witout throwing counters or punching last in exchanges he doesn't start

ive been reading what he says and I'm sure he's prepared. its been over 8 freakin months!!!!!!

problem is that marciel is like pirog, only worse. i don't see how pirog doesn't break him down. its one thing to outbox south american journeymen

I feel the same way.. just hope that he continues beating the fighters put in front of him. I want to see Pirog/Martinez.. but don't want to get my hopes up.

Yeah Dima seems to be taking this guy quite seriously which is a good thing.

Yep.. I hope he puts on a show.. and puts Martinez on notice that he's a player in his division. Would be a good fight.. but Pirog needs a few more bouts.
