    Note to Eric Morales

You should have tried to tuck the left hook in behind the gaurd

I just capped this fight to my PC and watched it again.

3 very weak points taken away from Raheem made it a clear win for Juarez, however without any of the points taken away Rocky still would have won a decision, and I had it 115-112 for Juarez with the KD.

No doubt Raheem has improved (or had a better night) since then.

It was interesting to note that after the 2nd round, Raheem told his corner his legs were gone, and the weight was killing him.

Manny Steward was commentating for HBO, and he mentioned that one year before the fight Raheem was training under him at a very trim 145 lbs. Manny was astounded Raheem had made 126 and said it was a very bad idea to see him cutting that much weight.

The weight loss was evident in Raheem struggling throughout most of the fight. He made a good account of himself, but seemed very sluggish in spots, allowing Rocky to steal rounds by out working him.

Funny that since then Juarez's stock has dropped with the loss to Soto, and Raheem's has sky rocketed with the win over Morales.

Does anyone know what Morales and Raheem weighed in the ring (not the weights from the weigh in)?

      Morales 148
      Raheem 150

way over. They both blew up apparently.

I know Morales took a few tries, but did Raheem make weight on the 1st try?

I dont remember much about the official weigh in. I only recalled what they weighed in at fight time.

There was a thread about the weigh-in, check it out.

I think Raheem should stick with 135.
