So then that should make him more motivated to want to fight him then. Not less. I hardly ever defend Juan Ma, but given that he's going to Gamboa's fight and when you hear these kind of comments out of Gamboa's mouth it makes it look like Gamboa would be the reason for this fight not happening and not the other way around.

This fight when it happens will be for the lineal title and probably both guys will be top 10 P4P. The demand will be huge if Top Rank plays their cards right and I could see from 400K to 500K on PPV buys and for a featherweight fight that would be huge and I think a record.
