Come on bro Maravilla doesn't duck nobody, he fought the most feared boxer in Williams and moved up and fought Pavlik. Pirog and Kirkland piece of cake for him.

well pound for pound is slightly based on record, recent wins or all time wins depending if your undefeated or not, loosely based on the manner in which your winning and how your skills and talent translate into other weight classes. hence pound for pound and considering Mayweather is the most skilled and one of the most naturally talented boxers, his resume and his undefeated mark and dominates opponents. yes he should be considered number 1. now I'm sure you will try and find something to dispute this. and the only Reason he came off the list and manny became number 1 is because of Floyds retirement. Floyd don't retire after the Hatton fight, he stays number 1

there is no doubt Marquez has one of the best, if not the best resumes out there, he is willing to fight anyone, and its not about the pay day its about the game, and I respect him for that

                      Pointless?

Or maybe because the thread is not favoring your favourite fighter?

                      Which one is it?

And if this is indeed a pointless thread topic, how come too many so called boxing hardcore fans are criticizing one man's body of work but when presented with facts about their own favourite fighter or fighters and using the same argument against them, this same group of people would easily dismiss these facts as pointless.

                      Haters, maybe? Just a thought.
