This all being said, when a guy gets old he gets old. After losing his last two fights, I think he loses this one badly by knockout. I would love to be wrong, but I just think he has gotten old.
Him and Taver are the same age, and Hopkins is 40, but is still a great fighter.. I'm tired of people saying that age is the factor, he just got exposed!! He never fought nobody until he met Tarver.. He only beat an unprepared Hopkins, and a Fat James Toney..

roy jones is listed as around 5'11. But from what I heard from friends that met him, he's really around 5'9 1/2- 5'10.

I met RJ and he's clearly taller than 5'9. 5'11 sounds about right.

Jones will make it look EASY! You heard it here first, it will be a one-sided easy victory. Note that Tarver is very susceptible to the left hook and has been knocked down by fighters like reggie johnson and others who do not have the punching power of roy jones. Jones' most powerful punch is his left hook and he's been working on it for almost a year now. I could hear the haters already saying that tarver was never really that good to begin with. LOL
He WAS NEVER THAT GOOD ... c'mon ... he caught Roy as he's declining. And it doesn't matter who's the oldest ... fighters each have only so many rounds in em and Roy reached his limit first.

One thing I know for sure is that the Roy who fought Tarver and Johnson was gassing and not moving and that made him susceptible to whatever. He was just posing against the ropes and not throwing. Now the bomb he ate ... ****, he ate a bomb. They knock out most guys. He looked so good that first round but he kinda was lookin "trapped".

No disrespect to Tarver but ... he ain't ****. That doesn't look right but hell, I ain't elevatin him based on beating a Roy who came back on lost to Glencoffe by KO, for god's sake.

I'm 5'10, and he was a few inches taller, although he was wearing Nike's.
