When Antonio Tarver KO'd him in the second round, this friend said Roy will never get beat up in a fight. When Glen Johnson battered Jones for 8 rounds and knocked him out cold in the 9th, he said RJJ will retire. I wonder what he thinks now? I was never a huge RJJ fan, he fought mediocore competition when in his prime and wasted his prime years. But man, this fight is dangerous. I hope RJJ gets knocked out quick, if he takes another beating like he did against Glen Johnson or B-Hop again it could be devastating...
I don't recall Roy taking a beating against BHop in that second encounter, are you sure you weren't searching for Tarver 3? Hell Roy took a much worse beating against the Slap Artist from Wales than he did against BHop 2. Be that as it may, I hope for Roy's sake that there's at least some type of catchweight like 190 for this cruiser fight. Any cruiser allowed to scale right at 200 lbs will walk right through Roy's bull**** earmuff/peek-a-boo D on the ropes and get him out of there within 4. Couple that with the fact that Roy can't pull the trigger anymore on O and this is an easy night for just about any half a$$ skilled fighter north of LHW.

Roy keep that chin tucked and gaurds up This (^^^) guy is trying to get you f'd up !!!

At this point I don't watch RJJ fights because he was a hero of mine at one time and I want to keep it that way !!!
Absolutely. Leaning his head back is part of why he got KOed in Tarver 2. Right hand lead, leaned back to set up a left hook and down he went....

What If Roy Jones Jr. beat The Number 1 ranked Crusierweight? What If?

damn, this sucks. This will probably be the first Jones fight i don't watch live for a long time. I don't want to see Jones Green all over again...I probably wont watch this before i read how it ends.

People said what if old Roy came back before Tarver III, before Calzaghe, before Green. It's enough now, he won't beat a top fighter again. It's not worth even comtemplating.

Does Roy really want to go for knocked out in the most Countries record?

This is sad , RJJ should hang them up , let people remember him in his prime , cherry picking his competitors and beating them badly . I've never been a great fan of his but he was fast at one time . I never saw him fight a fight he wasn't heavily favored in until the last three yrs . seems PBF is in lock step with Roy but Roy is fan friendly .
