Clottey was a top 5 welterweight. This idiot isn't even ranked in the top 100.

This post makes it seem to me like U think I give Pacman passes, the only fighter I like as little as Floyd,in in fact Pacman, his last 3 fights were full of ****.But that still doesn't mean that Floyd isn't.

It's very difficult ask Sven Ottke. It's also difficult to look good after doing time and a massive amount of drugs since shooting his pregnant wife.

If the fight with Floyd comes off then sick, its a decent pay day. Spaddy would just need to put in a decent effort for his stock to rise...obviously if it does happen id want Spaddy to beat Floyd.
That's all I been trying to communicate in this thread. It's obvious a lot of these commentators don't even recall watching Spadafora back in the day and just want cry about something. Spaddy was an excellent out fighter, with good speed, a good chin, a championship pedigree, that got caught up. Now let these people tell it, he ain't ****.

Regardless of all that, I think if promoted correctly, and if he's dedicated could make another run.

man, you said he WAS a good fighter BACK IN THE DAY. The key word is WAS. Have you seen him recently? Dude is **** now. He wasted away his time getting locked up in and out of jail and doing hard drugs.

You basically want Floyd, pound 4 pound #2 fighter in the world, to give an UNRANKED fighter, a junkie and recently out of prison for SHOOTING his prego girlfriend a chance and a payday. lmao you guys are INSANE

Anything is justifiable in todays society bro. 100 million dollars is only money, those who have unlimited amounts don't care about cost, they care about resources.

Oh yea, he is a undefeated former champ with 8 title defenses under his belt so that's a plus.

geez, you must get sold on every INFOMERCIAL out there in the world. of course he's going to sounds passionate, etc, he's selling himself to the public, he has to have confidence, etc. otherwise who would follow him as a fan.

spaddy is a good guy, i like him, used to like him a real lot, but he ****ed that up by taking himself out of the game and spotlight, so to speak.

but leading up to a fight with mayweather you have to not only have credentials but you have to be on top of your game, obviously, and you have to bring something to the table.

everyone who has fought mayweather recently, has had those things, even though they were easily criticized because THERE ARE BETTER MATCH UPS OUT THERE FOR MAYWEATHER TO FIGHT THAT THE FANS WANT TO SEE.

let spaddy ring up a few NAMED fighters in his win column before he fights mayweather, anything short of that, it's just a another sparring match between the two.

i'm willing to bet a 1000 bucks that spaddy wouldn't even be able to beat jmm or even katsidis at this point, and a myriad of other current fighters who are active and have got their schit together........

but no, throw him in against mayweather and call it legit, this is a ****ing terrible joke................. at best!

George Forman WAS good fighter in 1973 when he KO Joe Fraizer to become Heavyweight Champ. George Forman proved he WAS good enough to become champ again 20 years later when he KO Michel Moorer in 94. My point is stop trying to shovel dirt on a fighters grave, when we haven't seen enough evidence in the ring to suggest otherwise.
