EXACTLY!!!! People don't mention this enough.....I saw it in every fight of Calzaghe's, he would adapt and start to run the other guy over..every time. Joe was one of the best on the spot adapters I have ever seen in boxing.

This adaption thing is kinda funny. Sure, he adapted well in the Kessler fight - but which other major fight did he adapt in?

Robin Reid? Nope. B-Hop? Arguable - he just outworked him. Lacy? He dominated from the start. Mitchell? It was a brawl. Eubank? Not really.

By terrorize, I mean that I see Dirrell having a mental collapse mid-rounds and enduring a very uncomfortable night thereafter. I don't see it being close.



I don't see Dirrell as being as dangerous a fight as Kessler, either. Dirrell has certain gifts and attributes that should make a fighter very competetive with Joe, but Dirrell is very poor mentally.
