listen to the ****ing interview, Jeff stated "Floyd started with $100million, possibly hoping to get to 70, 60 or whatever..." How the **** is that not confirming that the $100 mil was asked for?!?

We get it, unless Floyd himself is quoted in saying "I want 100 million dollars and a bag of chips..." no one will believe that Floyd likes potato chips.

true, it is always good to enter negotiations with a big number.

the ****** thing to do would insist on $100 million ONLY. Meaning, $100 million or no fight.

        BUT...

everything here is speculation. floyd jr himself hasn't confirmed that he actually made that demand since all we have been hearing is merely speculation and hearsay. heck, we don't even know if the $100 million was for ONE fight or SEVERAL fights.

so until i hear from floyd jr himself, i won't say anything for or against floyd jr in this matter.

I gotta hand it to roger though... he worded his statements in a way that he neither confirmed or denied floyd jr making that demand.

he merely stated his opinion that $100 million for one fight for one fighter would simply be too much. pretty slick.

Remember folks this is a negotiation for the biggest fight of the century/decade, so you wanna start high, especially when you are working with son of a b*tches like King and Arum who always try to lowball fighters. It a shocking number, but justified considering the situation.

$100 million in two fights breaks down to $50 million per fight...isn't that how much Floyd was estimated to get from the Pacquiao fight anyway?

I don't get all the hoopla.

I'm not taking this $100 mill as fact yet, but I'm pretty sure the Floyd fans here would be tearing Manny to shreds if the same rumors were said.

Floyd couldn't be that obtuse to seriously ask for $100 million for one fight could he? $100M for 8 weeks of training and 36 minutes of work on fight night is obscene. Tiger Woods barely makes $100 million for a year's work, and Floyd wants that much for one night? Come on now...get real Floyd.

If Floyd asked for 100 mill for 1 fight, he crazy! However, I doubt he did. this came from Bob Arum, the snake oilsman! 1 thing I do know is that Bob bring up Floyd for every pacman fight for last 4 fights. He obviously using Floyd name and the thought of a Floyd/pacman fight to promote pacquiao's fights. I will never believe Bob Arum.
