SAM_PETER: I don't expect much from him. He's a big tall guy and he's been able to intimidate a lot of people but he's not going to be able to intimidate me because I'm going to put him in his place.

SAM_PETER: Defense or no defense what's going to happen is going to happen and defense isn't going to matter on September 24
SAM_PETER: I feel great to be able to fight this guy in Atlantic City, it's the hometown of my promoter and a place known for giving the people big time boxing.

SAM_PETER: Never ever knocked down before and I will never be knocked down in the ring. I am special fighter.

SAM_PETER: His brother is the guy I want the most, but whoever is available after this fight. It doesn't matter who's next as long as it's a chamion

SAM_PETER: I've been raised tough since I was in Nigeria so I don't think anything he can show me will be tough for me. I already passed tougher tests than him.

SAM_PETER: I never lift weights before. Never in my life. It's all natural from Almighty God.. If You ask God for it and believe in what you're asking for he's going to give it to you.

SAM_PETER: I'm training in Reno at the 4th street gym. Many great champions have trained here before, I'm just the next one to train here.
SAM_PETER: He hasn't trained me but he's a good man and he has a lot of wisdom and whenever he sees me he speaks the truth. He doesn't train me but I listen to him when he talks to me.
warrior: How has training in Reno helped you and who have you been sparring with
SAM_PETER: I'm sparring with the best of the best. They've been there before me and they're skilled guys who have been world champions, are world champions, we're just sparring with nothing but the best.
taz: what would a fight with you and james toney be like
SAM_PETER: I would box him and beat him. That's a fight I would love, I would bust him ass.

SAM_PETER: I was feeling like I was in Heaven when this deal got done. I like the greats, like George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, Ken Norton, I like watching all those greats. Even Lennox Lewis
