Bull****. Like Top Rank gives a **** about promoting a 38 year old piss drinker whos not a draw. Arum already said he doesn't care about promoting Marquez.

Unfortunately, I don't think a fight between Pacquiao vs. Marquez can be done unless GBP isn't involved. Since JMM asked if he could talk to Top Rank directly, I think it would be a one fight exception. GBP overpriced JMM when they submitted their demands to Top Rank because GBP wanted to be paid! I think JMM wants to go them directly, state something like I want $2.5 million and a percentage of PPVs above a certain number and that be that. Arum doesn't want to promote JMM, he just wants to be the sole promoter for Pacquiao vs. Marquez. Now, I am not saying I agree with that, I am just saying that is the bottom line. And I hope it can be worked out because I want to know who is the best between two. Plus the first two fights were great fights so there is no reason to think the third won't be a barnburner either...

JMM and Top Rank are on the same wavelength here. GBP is dumb not to see it. Knowing that there is a provision in JMMs contract that they can match any offer offer by a rival promoter, in this case TR, JMM will just let it expire and TR will not even approach JMM until he is a free agent. When the GBP contract is extinguished, thats when JMM and TR will make a deal for a November 2011 fight with Pacquiao. GBP is desperate to get involved in the promotion. TR is just laughing its way to the bank.

Golden Boy are in a lose-lose situation with the Pacquiao-Marquez fight. They should've just accepted Marquez's offer of GBP promoting his other fights except for the one with Pacquiao. Otherwise, Marquez will be a free agent.
