if paulie loses he needs to hang it up. At best hes a B level fighter with fast hands and is extremely slick. But khan mauled him, cotto beat him to a pulp ( still hung in there though ). I think paulie is around 30 now, this is a crossroads fight.

He did win his last fight by K.O though, in his new weight class. Who knows. He;s never going to be a p4p fighter or even ATG, and I'm a fan of his. Just reality.

he already beat Ndou ass twice including a couple knock downs

you gotta get your tune up, then a stepping stone or two. but Cotto has done well at lightweight only loss is to Diaz.

Paulie is probably looking to fight Zaveck, when he blows by Cotto he might get a shot then he will be a champ again
he knocked ndou down once and he probably should have lost the second fight.

cotto didn't even do well at lightweight. he beat a bunch of nobodies does that count as doing well? then he lost to juan diaz and got a gift draw against singwacha. now he's a welterweight because he's too lazy to get into proper shape. how does this prepare malignaggi for real welterweights or get him a title shot? why doesn't he fight a guy like soto-karass? too dangerous!

Pointless fight imo, especially considering Cotto's talking of retiring within a few fights.

He rack's on about avenging his losses. Well then rematch Marg now then see what you can get after.
'Rant' is the word you're looking for. 'Rant'. The Queen would be angry.

it don't matter what you think of his resume or who he beat, he's 32-2 apparently he has done well, you act like I said he did great. why doesn't he fight soto? why should he, too dangerous talking about a boxer who has stepped in the ring with Diaz, Cotto, Khan and Hatton but soto is too dangerous. get out of here with that, Cotto is who he was offered, Cotto is who was approved, they are both coming off recent losses, have only lost to top comp, its a good match up. And should had lost the second fight to Ndou?, please dude

yeah apparently but when you look at his resume you find out he's beaten nobody. it's called padding your record. the object is to trick people into thinking you are good when you really aren't. looks like it worked at least on you.

why would malingaggi fight soto? malignaggi should be fighting welterweights not lightweights since he's a welterweight.

cotto was offered because he sucks and isn't a real welterweight. cotto was approved because he sucks and isn't a real welterweight. and malignaggi wants a title shot after this victory. you don't see anything wrong with that?

Yup he woke up one morning and said I wanna be a boxer, but I don't.know if I'm good enough, then Miguel looks at him and goes just fight nobodies and you will.be fine bro, I don't know what makes you a real welterweight, I usually base it on if you fight at Welter, his last two fights was at a 150 catch weight, so he's not a real light middle either, wait maybe he is not a real boxer. neither are gonna get a direct title shot after this fight, even if paulie does and he gets Zaveck and beats him and wins another title does it really matter how he got there? nope it doesn't you can reply but I'm not going to anymore I give up on you concerning this thread.
