I give credit to Cotto for always being a class act even in defeat. Watch Vargas' conferences and they always turned into soap opera BS with him turning red and becoming the psychologically damaged, self hating "warrior" that seems to be the norm.

      Capetillo relying on plaster wraps can never another man's Papi as he himself questioned his own ability, and the ability of his fighters.

      Plaster= Fear.
      Really good for him i could a **** about what he does bc he is an american. Camacho was a loud mouth rican and got his ass handed to him by chavez.
      Haha and you talking about maturity?

        Nobody said PRs were ALL European kid. What I did say was that GENETICALLY, as per scientific studies, the PR has primarily EUROPEAN blood followed by Indian and black, whereas Mexicans, have Indian blood followed by if any, European blood. Granted we do have black PRs e.g. Tito Trinidad and Mulatto e.g. Lopez etc, but make no mistake, PR has a large European base too. As you know, the Tainos were killed off very quickly in the history of Puerto Rico. What remains are whites, blacks and a mix of both. I happen to be on the whiter spectrum as my father was in fact Spanish born, and raised in Cabo Rojo, PR. I consider myself Puerto Rican.
        The PR Gene pool has more Indian blood than Black? Fascinating! I didn't know that. The Tainos were indeed mostly killed off but Indians from other areas of Central and South America were brought in. The thing with Indian blood when it's mixed with European is that the result is what looks like an Arab or Spaniard from south Spain whereas when you mix a Euro with African the result is what looks like one of the lighter skinned Africans from South Africa. We're all Latinos either way and that's a fact.

He was a good fighter who seemed to struggle with black fighters and their style.
          Yeah, the Chavez-Laporte fight was close and I wouldn't argue against someone who says Laporte won. Chavez wasn't Chavez yet tho. Mexicans never admit defeat generally. Mexico is like the Afghanistan of the New World. Spain and France occupied us but then they thought better and GTFO. The same is happening in the SW USA. The US has had the SW for awhile but the Mexicans are taking it back. I think we're the only country in the New World to thwart 3 European countries--maybe the world? As for the Chavez-Randall fight, Randall was rapidly begining to submit when Steele deducted Chavez points. Randall then grew a pair of balls he didn't previously have and thought he had a chance to win. That's all a man needs sometimes in boxing because it's all very mental and he knocked Chavez down with his renewed artificial confidence. Chavez understood that and expressed his dissatisfaction.

            Ivan is a great champion, and a great fighter.

            Always the smaller man, and hardly a vicious punching machine..... but he will still fight anyone, anywhere, anytime.

            WARRR Calderon !!

            How much does the giant-killer have left ?

            Can he make the necessary adjustments, and keep Giovani off him for the entire fight?

            A win, would be the kind of performance that legends are made of.

            But I dunno man, Segura is a young, hungry, powerful, beast.

            WARRR Calderon !!

            I don't want to get caught up in hype, I have been an Iron Boy fan for years, but he is nearing the end, and Segura is the harbringer of destruction......

            ..... still, this could be a real good fight, we could see something very special here
