Uncle Bob's below the belt comment on the Donaire's are ******ly funny but his right that Nonito still has not connected with Filipino fans because of his Flamboyant ways unlike Manny who is more humble... but Nonito is a good kid and a great boxer.

What Arum said about rachel regarding her choice in clothing was indeed below the belt.

That said, i also believe that though Rachel may have the best interest of her husband at heart, she has shown herself to be a very rash, impulsive and thoughtless person and only gets donaire into trouble.

for example,

1. its no secret that his beef with his family had a lot to do with his wife.
2. it was Rachel's emotional outburst that erupted his most recent word war with the media.
3. i can't say for sure, but it is also very likely that she influenced donaire to jump ship to Golden Boy.


its good that donaire has a beautiful wife who looks out for him, but he has to learn to reign her in. that's because if they continue doing what they do, who's to say that they won't have the very same problems with Golden Boy?

i hope the best for Donaire and that he'd be more successful under Golden Boy. But if they don't change their attitudes (the Donaires), then his career will go nowhere but down.

I don't understand the hate towards Rachel Donaire. What she has said and her reasoning for feeling Donaire should move to Golden Boy are not ridiculous or extreme or hurting her husband. They are pretty much dead on. Arum has no one to blame but himself.

He always talks sh** when fighters leave Top Rank, so I don't listen to what he says about those fighters.

not just that but in all honesty Bob knows he dropped the ball when it came to the promotion of Donaire. Those Pinoy Power cards were garbage and Donaire's opponents were nothing but fodder.

she's a Gold Digger! when nonito starts losing, she will dump him and end up with someone else in GBP, just like Mosley's ex. She will screw her way to the top. And Schafer is just mad because he knows he will lose at court against top rank on breach of contract of the traitor and for those PED allegations of Manny and will have to pay a hefty fine. GBP is a sinking ship.
