How did you get into boxing?
My older brother David boxed, so as all little brothers do I looked up to him and I followed in his footsteps.
What was your amateur record?
72 fights 63 Wins
What made you turn pro, and was it hard to go from amateur to pro?
I lost my Dad when i was 17 - we had always talked about me going pro with him by my side, so when he died suddenly I thought "I have to do this - at least give it a shot - for him." It helped me to move on and remain positive.
I personally found the transition from am to pro easier - I felt it suited my style of boxing.
