Would Hopkins winning be bad for the divsion

If Hopkins wins and get the titles we all know he is gonna retire, with that being said do you think that will be bad because then all 4 belts would be split up like the heavyweight divsion is, or because there is actually some talent at middle with 4 different belt holders it could help by making Great middleweight fights happen

it would be bad but not as bad as the HW division because MW atleast has Taylor who is clearly a future star and the HW division has a bunch of kids who are yet to prove themselves (Peter)

I think if Hopkins wins and retire then there could be some good match ups to unify the belts. There is Wright, Sturm, Ikeke, Taylor even Lacy said he wants to fight at 160.

The heavyweight division hasn't been unified because Don King controls 3 out of the four belts in the division. He doesn't want to unify so he can put on his heavyweight ppv's.

this is the ****en problem with boxing, too much politics, who cares if its bad or not, let the best man win, they already handed a prize out to Taylor, they will probably do it again, less b-hop does his thing and knock the punk out.

NO , It would not the best man should win and he deserves the redemption after such a close loss,Although I don't think he lost and neither did a whole lot of boxing Writers across the country(see ring mag article) for proof.A draw was acceptable a loss was not he clearly did more damage and was more effective overall.Winky,Strum,Abraham, and Taylor can fight over the belts for a year or two and then Andre Ward and some others will be surfacing into the picture it will not end up as ****ed up as the HW division IMO.

i dont know if it would be bad for boxing as neither hopkins nor taylor are really appealing to the public and neither have been marketable recently, what with the bull**** decision and all.
