See, what everyone fails to realize, is that you can't train your chin. Sure, you have guys like Ross who go on for hours about how training your neck helps you to absorb a punch. Lemme straight up just let you know something..you can't train your chin. Take a good look at Wladimir's cranium in the first picture. The top is much wider than the bottom. When you have a pointy chin like that, when you get punched on the chin,the cranium swivels much more effectively than say if you were to hit a person with a more square chin. It's simple physics.

The blunt impact from a punch hitting a pointy chin is different than that same punch hitting a more squareish chin. The head itself reacts differently if you watch enough pointy chinned fighters take shots then watch the squarer chinned guys take the shots. When a pointy chin gets hit, theres more centrifugal force involved than if it were a more structured, square chin. the small pointy surface is extremely tough and hard, and acts as a leverage boost.


Sure, Wlad will look real good pushing him around with the jab early on. But do you guys seriously believe that when Peter does connect (and, he WILL connect....Wlad moves straight back instinctually when he is in danger...which basically is subliminally giving peter instructions to overthrow the left hook 2 feet in front of the normal target..trust me, wlad is going to be completely embarassed, and emmanuel steward is going to tell himself, 'why can't I have another guy like Hearns walk into my gym') that wladdy will be able to recover from that? lolz.

lemme tell you all something, I know fights and Ive been fighting for a good portion of my life, and been around the fight game even longer. peter will KO wlad.

....Slip, I am a huge Wlad fan and I think he is one of the most offensively gifted heavies to lace em up. The Sanders fight could have happened to anyone. After watching the Brewster fight again(thanks to badblood) I noticed that Wlad seemed to get really discouraged when he didn't knock out Brewster when he had him in trouble. He may have been fatigued or whatever the hell he was, but he still got discouraged when Brewster would not go away. I forgot that Roy and the rest of the HBO crew were basically calling for a stoppage. Wlad thought for sure that Brewster was either not getting up or he would get him out of there with plenty of time left in the round. Unless Wlad has a completely changed midset and he has seriously improved his stamina, then I am starting to really worry about this fight. What is going to happen if Wlad can't take Peter out after he hits him with everything? We don't know if Peter can take a punch but he sure looks like he can. Maybe Wlad will use his superior skills to outbox him and never get caught, but I am starting to have serious doubts that he can keep away from him for the whole night. I still think Peter sucks technicaly but it may not matter in the end. I hope I am just being paranoid though.

I think Wlad is the biggest ***** right after his brother. Some with their physical gifts would have already dominated this division and cleaned it out for years. But they're too ***** to do this.
