I think he faked it.

I haven't seen a medical report made available since the fight.

Mayorga quit. IMO

Nah, his arm wasn't hurt.

I was kinda rooting for the upset because I find Mayorga charming, but he got clocked with a huge shot from Cotto and his pride wouldn't let him admit he was hurt. That's just how he is.

it was def a strange circumstance ... he made it seem like it was more his thumb not hand. i thought it was legit and maybe inside the glove it dislocated and then popped back into place. but only he knows and its true its possible that he was faking ...

Mayorga`s left punch barely grazed Cotto, so how could it suddenly be broken? His thumb was never an issues as you could see from the slow-mo.

Technology clearly shows that he took a dive.
