Comments Thread For: Team Wolak Want Bundrage or Chavez Next, Then Cotto

The manager of New Jersey junior middleweight Pawel Wolak, Ivan Edwards, told BoxingScene.com that he would like to see his fighter face either middleweight contender, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., of Mexico, IBF king, Cornelius Bundrage, of Detroit, or WBA titlist Miguel Cotto, of Puerto Rico, in that order.

WAR K-9, WAR! Corey handles Wolak easily. Chavez would smoke Wolak too, and Cotto, well lets just say Jose Cotto would be a more evenly matched fight . . .

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you called foreman to beat wolak easy.......how'd that work for ya?

Chavez won't fight him, don't ask why seems as if jr would win. If wolak ever get's cotto, wolak wins. Save the attack post, it would be because by then cotto will have fought margarito or manny again and wolak will have won a few big fights in a row......................though it will never happen.

If I'm wolak I target alvarez. Alvarez wins, but wolak may be able to force some mistakes from the young champ.

I would like to see Wolak vs Cotto.
            Itll never happen however.

Chavez Jr is going nowhere near Wolak either. I dont think Bundrage will want to fight him either.

              they took yuri's soul
              :-[

              what team wolak wants
              team wolak gets.

on a semi- unrelated note :
why don't the folks who handle the second tier / up and coming fighters try and keep these guys more active

it seems like they get into contention and then they just freeze up
take a stay busy fight... and stay busy!

k9 bundrage is too good for ESPN?

if contender's fought eachother there wouldnt be any complaining about them being cast as opponents when the dust settles

if he's the last one standing, however, i'll still complain about chavez jr.
really cant stand watching him box.
he doesnt even look like he likes it.

I would love to see a wolak vs Cotto fight but it wont happen. Wolak doesnt bring money and Cotto is at the end of his Career and only looking for the big fights. I think if it did happen any time soon, Wolaks come forward throwning a million punches a round style would give Cotto problems. But I think Cotto would KO him in the mid rounds considering Wolak will take 3 to give 1 .
