Having natural physical ability doesn't mean someone knows more about the sport.
More often than not, people with less physical ability make better coaches and imparters of knowledge that 'naturals', because they had to learn more & work a lot harder to get to a good level.

I like Manny Pac, but it is pretty obvious that his defensive skills are lacking along with his boxing ability. The fight against JMM should never had gone the distance, but Pac was getting outboxed alot. And in his last fight, I think the guy he fought gave him more than he should have. That's 2 things that I think Manny should work on. Dunno what to say about Zab, though, he pressured Spinks into getting knocked out and got outboxed in their first go around. He showed some boxing ability against Tszyu but we know what happened there.

don't forget his fights after JMM, he shows he's already improved a lot especially his right when he fought velasquez.

He did fight some exciting fights with many mid-level guys like himself in the 80's.

I hope the next time Pacman fights & Roach offers an opinion, Pac's opponent tells Roach's know-nothing ass to sit down & shut up.
After all....the opponent will be fighting for a title, something Roach never did....right ?

Manny has enough natural talent and style to become a great fighter if he works on his weaknesses and settles his management problems and keeps in training. Roach has worked on his right hand and he hurts fighters with it now. He just needs to learn how to better deal with great boxers like Marquez or little hardheads like Apagito Shanchez.

Manny is the only flyweight champ to ever win a featherweight title, so he's got some good qualifications. He beats Morales in the rematch if he doesn't cut and freak out.

Right. But comparing Roach opinions to that of this sissy is just as lame and dumb as I can think of.

First, Roach always toned it down and limited himself to one-liners and one sentence criticisms.

This sissy, thinks he's too good he can analyze PAC's true talent and even compare it with another. Does he have enough credibility to say that? lol! His credibility is being a KO victim.

Comparing Roach with that sissy is also pointless, Roach have yet to make such a SCHOLARLY ANALYSIS of a fighter. All ROach do is make pre-fight/ post-fight statements which is at best, a trainer siding with his fighter. And no one takes a **** about that.
