Who you think hit harder. I personally think Hitman Hearns hit harder. Jackson never really fought great fighters like Hearns. Also the KO ratio is overrated. My favorite fighter of all time which is Marvelous Marvin Hagler, had a better KO ratio then Hearns. But Hearns hit harder then Hagler & every one else. Hearns in his prime had so many 1 punch KO. He was P4P one of hardest hitters ever in my opinion.
Thomas Hearns or Julian Jackson - Who Hit Harder???

Overall it was Julian Jackson. However, when Hearns unleashed that lethal right cross at 147 and 154 it was nite nite (as evidenced in the Duran bout). I think Hearns had the single most lethal punch that the sports ever seen but Jackson could end a fight with 1 punch, any punch, at any time.Comment

My sentiments exactly.
Jackson was more consistent.....dangerous at all times.
I won't really argue with anyone who'd pick Hearns over Jackson, however. Hearns has the resume & the spectacular knockouts to make you think he was the man.Comment

They're fun.
You are a boring fight fan...which makes YOU pointless in a forum about boxing.Comment

It's a toss up to me. Both had legitimate 1 punch KO power. Maybe a slight edge to JJ because he started his career near middleweight & the dynamite he had with both hands, not just the right.Comment
