Pacquiao eats way too healthy and he trains like a beast. Asian people generally eat healthier than any other race. Thats why Pacquiao is 100% lean muscle. People who eat western diets are usually unhealthy pigs. America leads the world in obestity which leads to heart disease, diabetics, high cholesterol, cancer etc.
Look at where the fattest boxers in the game come from, James Toney, Chris Arreola, Solis, all western diets, all fat asses.
Nazzim you dumb*ss! Pac fought @ 112 when he was 21( 2 months shy of 21). Mosely fought @ 139 as an amateur when he was 21.
For almost the entirety of Mosley's amateur career, he fought at 132. From his 21st birthday on, Pacquiao fought at 122 and up. Pacquiao is clearly the smaller guy--just look a their heights. However, Pacquiao turned pro at 16. It shouldn't surprise you but Mayweather won the 1993 Gold Gloves at age 16--and 106 pounds as well.
It's never a BS fight when two guys come to fight!!! Styles make fights! Don't be fooled by Mosley last two fights... Mayweather nor Mora wanted to knock Shane out... Show me when they tried too??? Fact is a Manny vs. Mosley will have more action than a Manny vs. Mayweather fight could dream of. Example Manny vs. Marquez, Hatton, and DLH was a lot more fun than Mayweather vs. Marquez, Hatton, and DLH. Save the boxing shows for regular HBO and Showtime and put the KO's on PPV. People make KO DVDs, Boxing's Greatest KOs not Boxing's Greatest Desicions or Boxing's Greatest Scorecards
So true. Boxing needs action fights more then ever. They should start paying a ten percent bonus to fighters for all fights that end in a ko. Far too many fighters are getting content with playing it safe from ahead and going for the scorecards. In the end we re the ones getting ****ed. If im paying 60 bucks in this economy I wanna see some action. I know u can't punish defensive fighters for being what they are, but that's no excuse for utter lack of aggression. At least reward the fighters who are willing to put it all on the line for the fans. Their the ones who bring new eye balls to the sport and give the fans what they pay to see. War warriors
when you have to eat extra calories in training camp just so you don't fall below 144 pounds, well yea, you are a small welterweight. when shane is coming down from 165 to make the weight, and pacquiao actually has to EAT MORE just to weigh in at 147.
Yet Pac demands that he will ONLY fight JMM at 147 no less and no catchweight...
Funny since Pac "struggles" to make 147 and didn't even win his WW title at 147 yet demands that a LW in JMM (who we all know looks horrible above 140) MUST fight him at 147....
Enough about the weight; this fight is not about the weight. Nazeem makes a moot point and it's well taken. But Shane gasses out in five or six rounds max and that is what this fight is about and thats why it is a bs fight, period. If Shane could go 12 rds I'd be hard pressed to pick a winner. As it stands this fight is not to see who wins but to see if Pac can ko a 50% fighter. A sad standard for greatness.
yeah when shane See's manny in the ring hes eyes r gona b big as hell looking how physically smaller manny is next to him and he gona go **** wit PAC and then he gona get caught with a bomb by manny and gona seriously feel that power of manny and by that time he cant go back the guy is gona b stunned throughout the fight
I've been saying the same thing for a long time too. Mosley is much older and him being a weight lifter had more to do with his muscle size in the ams etc.
The fact is though that him and Floyd were the same size right? Well, Floyd started out at 106 at 16 just like Pac (except Pac was malnourished and Floyd wasn't, so Pac really would have been larger than that and it's why he shot up the weight divisions so fast. He couldn't actually stay down) and is now a solid, normal sized welter.
Pac was always huge at the lower weights. He looked like Paul Williams in some fights. I remember against Sanchez he looked massive. I guess people are always going to talk about weight and things like that, but it's pretty damn obvious if you ask me. Water weight and natural weight are a big thing today. The water weight guys put on doesn't take them back to their natural weight. Adding ten tons of weight after a weigh in simply means you dehydrated the **** out of yourself. Nothing more. Pac's conditioning is better than most and his training more intense....more old school. That's why he doesn't need to stack on pound after pound like he used to at 112/118 etc.
No ever talked about Floyd being smaller than Shane and no one ever talked about Cotto being smaller than Shane and yet there was no size difference between Pac and Cotto, Hatton and Pac etc: http://www.blitzcorner.com/MMA/Pacqu...-in-12th-Round
In fact, against Hatton, Pacquiao had nearly every single size edge in every part of their bodies apart from half an inch in height or something. He's rarely ever been the smaller man when they fight in his whole career. Two fights in which he has, against Marg and Oscar, is nothing to cry over. http://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgu...w=1023&bih=577
only blind man cant see Pac is a small welterweight. name me any boxers who doesnt even weigh the division limit on fight night? that hasnt happen since the same day weigh in. and even then they even had a chance to gain some few lbs.
