Solis may have done well for the first two and half minutes of round one however Vitali usually takes a couple of rounds to get warmed up. Solis was timing him well until he got clipped on the top of the noggin. Personally, even at a light 250 lbs, Solis wouldn't have been able to move effectively for the whole fight. I think Vitali, especially being in much better shape, would have started catching him more frequently as the fight went on and probably stopped him in the later rounds if his knee wouldn't have given out.

        The truth about SpongeBob

Here's some truth: Solis is a fat lazy pig who lost this fight long before he ever got in the ring by abusing his body so badly.

He had zero chance to beat Vitali, folded up the second he got hit by something other than a jab, and the rest is history.

The idea that he deserves or will get a rematch is laughable. Who would pay to go see him fight Vitali again? Certainly not the Germans, who don't like being ripped off.

Solis would have to actually get in shape and beat some actual contenders to get another shot, but it is very unlikely he will ever be that motivated, as he doesn't much like boxing to begin with.

Much more likely is that he will take his $1.8 million and eat himself up to 350 pounds, and join Sultan Ibragimov and Calvin Brock out there in that happy hunting ground for fighters beaten by the Klitschkos.

The stuff I have read about this fight is ridiculous.

I am totally neutral in this fight! To be fair to Solis he started well and landed some good shots, but that is it. Vitali didnt even bat a eye lid at his 'right hands'. Vitali would have took them right hands all night long!

Solis couldnt hurt Vitali and he realised this by the end of the first round, hence he then took a dive! There was never anything wrong with his foot, ankle, knee or any other part of his leg or legs!

Solis is going to now have to stay in hispital for 2 months, even though there is nothing wrong with him lol

Even if he didn't hurt his knee he was knocked down by a punch and would have needed the next 3 rounds in a row to be up on Vitali, I don't think I can remember anyone getting 3 consecutive rounds over Vitali.

Very unlikely he would have beaten Vitali and I am not interesting in a rematch on that basis that he wasn't demolished sooner than 2 minutes and 50 some odd seconds of round number 1.

ok I just watched this fight. I must say...Either you guys don't know boxing or you just love Vitali....That was the worst knockdown in the history of boxing...this was worst than Ali vs Liston. Honestly this was not a knockdown. I saw it in slow mo and it was the weakest hit of the fight. I am not a fan of either so im not looking at this as a fan. Solis did look more busy than most that get in the ring with this guy. SMH!!!!!!!!!!!!

These fat guys need to give it up. Their complaining like it's Vitali's fault the guy is fat. Honestly Solis should'nt get paid for that fight. If you can't get yourself in the propor shape then you should'nt be allowed to waste fans money like that. If they try for a rematch they should put it into contract that Solis must weigh 220 or less or the fight won't go on. Why should we all be fooled into watching this fat dude blow out his knee's. Even Butterbean kept his knee's in tact for christ sake.

Actually Vitali outlanded him and he got a KD so it's fair to say Vitali won the 1st round. Solis landed 3 nice counter punches but thats it and that's only because Vitali was going to engage. Vitali was already wising up to the counters just before the KO.

Yep he's going to go through surgery, when he could have just stayed down and not got up.
