Calderon was a great champ for PR, IMO the best fighter PR has produced since Tito but was always over looked.

I just think that Segura is too young, too strong and will be too much for him once again.

I'll be there, and hell ya if Calderon starts to run like a little B**** he's gonna get booed and everything else that comes with it. I go to fights in Mexicali all the time and people there cant stand those type of fighters. All i can say if he plans on runing all night he better have ear protection.

caldeRUN can only beat segura in PR. he's gonna have to do what Segura did, KO him in his home land. We all know if it went the distance the first time, no matter what, the judges would have caldeRUN the winner. well the tables are turned now, ivan you better go for the KO cause mexico doesn't like the running panoch fighters. u can run a bit but you're going to HAVE TO exchange more than you want and Segura already holds the physical and mental power over you.

In the 1st fight, if it was true that Calderón wasn't physically 100% & wasn't training right, then he should have called the fight off!! It was the MOST important fight of his career & was facing the best opponent in his career & according to him, he wasn't even training 1/2 of what he usually trains.. & in his last 3 fights(against Mayol 2 times & against Iribe) before facing Segura, Calderóns legs were not all there, he didn't have the same quick moves from the past & seemed more stable & easier to hit.. I hope Calderón could pull it off..But I've would have liked to see Calderón in a tune up fight before facing Segura again, just to see if what Calderón claims(about not training right) is true & it's not father time taking it's toll on Calderón..Hopefully Calderón & his team studied the 1st Segura/Cesar Canchila fight, where Canchila clearly beat & took Segura's undefeated record by UD just by plain & simply boxing him...Another factor is that Segura has been having trouble with the weight & that could benefit Calderón(Segura's last fight he weighed 113 1/2 which 2 category's above 108lbs)..This fight is in Mexico & this time Segura could have his trainer Capetillo work his corner & that could somewhat help Segura, not by cheating, but by feeling more comfortable with his trainer wrapping his hands & in the corner giving him instructions instead of some one else like in the first fight....Capetillo is baned in the u.s & Puerto Rico(because of the Margarito incident) from working with fighters & their corners in a fight...They both have pros & cons going into this fight..I like both fighters, but I'll be rooting for My countryman Calderón..

Funny, I like Calderon he has "boxing" skills. I prefer watching a technical fighter with actual skills than 2 mexicans punching each other in the face non-stop for 12 rounds with no defense, no jab and ability to slip punches. This is why I refuse to watch those idiots fights on Telefutura. I like a good fight, but I also like to see some talent.

Next time do better research before commenting..Cause at the time of the stoppage Segura WAS UP ON ALL SCORECARDS 69-64, 68-65, 67-66!!!! & ¿Why are u saying that the ONLY way Calderón could win is by KO? Are u implying that if it goes the distance & Calderón happens to outbox Segura, but because it's in Mexico ¿He gonna get robbed?...& just to inform u, there's a difference between running & boxing, Calderón BOXES!! I guess u can't tell..

Most Mexicans think a guy who does not get punched in the face 180 times per round, is running.

Segura's plan to go to the body early while cutting the ring is the perfect plan to fight Calderon. Don't see how Ivan can win but if he does it would be a great one
