didnt mean he was born in new York, I know he was born In Puerto Rico moved here when his.mom died with his uncle, so he was raised here and learned boxing here, I dont think of cintron as a Puerto rican like Cotto is, I think of him like a new York Puerto rican. K9 got his title fight against Cory Spinks because both were promoted by Don King. If I remember correctly, I think Spinks was favored to win but just didn't show up that night...

Anyway, I agree that Cintron did beat Angulo for a title eliminator so I wouldn't mind him fighting K9. I know alot of people criticize Cintron however it wasn't his fault he got a gift draw against Martinez. Secondly, I don't think any fighter would throw himself out of a ring and potential cause a career ending or worse injury to avoid Paul Williams. So, personally, if that fight is on the undercard, it would be better than Cintron fighting a no hoper and being stuck with that on the PPV telecast....
