The middleweight division has been ass for as long as I can recall, it hasn't been hot since the early 90's.

who would you put your money on if sturm and pirog fought?

I know I wouldn't bet against pirog in that fight.

i think pirog needs a fight or two before being ready for sergio, but not sturm

Pirog is untested, he KOed a highly regarded prospect and hasn't done so much since. If Martinez defeats him they are going to say that Pirog was green.

The way I see it there is not much boxers at his weight class that can beat him, maybe Sturm or Kirkland if he gets fully back on track.

If you see Sergio has a hard time getting fights cause nobody really wants to fight him
His last 3 fights have been above 154. He IS a fullfledged MW champion. He will continue to be a MW until a.) He loses, or b.) He goes back down to 154. Until then, he is a MW.

For the people complaining that manny is too small.. Manny has cherry picked bigger fighters before, why not cherry pick Sergio?... You make the weight, you make the weight.
