I am Biased but honestly...just like Pernell Whitaker in his Prime...his style is going to be hard to beat, it will take "Controversial Decisions" to beat him

not sure why people just "ASSUMED" that he is just a "Defensive Fighters"...he is even more dangerous when he is aggressive because how do you get away from someone that is so fast and how do you block punches that are so quick

plus that Left to the body can slow ANYONE DOWN

you guys can watch his amateur career, he just likes to be defensive, it's not that he's learning how to be offensive, if some of you watch his fights you can see that he does it all and is even more dangerous whenever he goes on the offensive. His problem is not his skill or skill level, I believe he mastered his own style. What he needs is a change in mentality. the day he chooses to stop thinking of fights as the "amateur points" system, even though his "pro points" system is meant to hurt you and stop you our KO you he still treats fights as a point system and in that lies the problem, I personally believe he its a genius in the ring with his boxing mentality being the flaw. Because his killer instinct is there and he has it, if you watch amateur career on video. The way he goes about it is what is wrong

I'd like to see him fight someone better than Cordoba that will make him go forward and press the fight, guys who go at him like Casey did will always make Ringodeaux look good, he has very good defense and very good counterpunching instinct.

He hasn't had that many fights and hasn't fought anyone of note unless you count Cordoba, but he does have talent and skills and as he fights better opposition he will get more recognition.

Yeah see these guys dont get that Rigondeaux is a Natural counter puncher meaning he will look at his best against come forward reckless fighters. If Rigondeaux and Mayweather or JMM were to fight in the same weight, it would be a slow paced tactical fight or what you guys call boring. He will only be aggressive if his opponent is aggressive like Casey was. So keep feeding him aggressive fighters and enjoy the show.
