Comments Thread For: Odlanier Solis Wants a Vitali Klitschko Rematch

On Saturday night in Cologne (Germany) WBC no. 1 rated heavyweight Odlanier Solis was stopped on his way to dethroning champion Vitali Klitschko by a serious knee injury. "La Sombra" was brought to hospital directly after the fight where an anterior cruciate ligament rupture, articular cartilage damage and meniscal tear in the right knee were diagnosed. "I haven’t seen a knee torn apart like this in a long time", senior physician Dr. Joern Michael stated after doing an arthroscopy. [Click Here To Read More]

with the way the HW division looks, Solis could come back later this year, win two fights. Then win 2-3 more and get another crack at an Alphabet title.

**It wouldn't hurt for Solis to keep his weight down also.

Sounds to me like he was injured before hand, came to take the paycheck knowing he'll lose and then ask for a rematch to make another 2 mil

Thats the kind of sneaky ***** Oner would pull

It will take him a while to recover from the injury, then he will need one or two tune ups. Vitali will probably be retired before he's ready for a rematch.

Solis won't be fighting for a year now, so he'll have to work his way back up the ranks.

For those thinking Solis took a dive, he was just injury prone. If you've damaged your knee like that, it's impossible for him to have carried on.

Get in line fatty. Vitali has bigger fish to fry. I'm looking forward to the Adamek fight

                    Well put.

"SpongeBob" was lucky to get a crack at the title at such an early stage in his pro career. He blows it (whether his fault or not) and wants a rematch for another quick couple of mil. Sure, Odlanier, sure....
