And that is a shame too because that is exactly what Donaire wants and is working hard for and Solis got it by doing nothing but walking up to the ring. Didn't even earn it.

How is Vitali overpaid? Let's use logic and common sense to debate this (no need for insults, of course).
This fight (no matter how boring) was in Germany and it was on PPV there as well. 19,000 fans paid good money to watch it and so did a lot on PPV.
Considering they have their own promotional company and the TV rights for the fight is sold to several countries in Europe, how can you say Vitali is over paid when fans pay to watch him???

It's pure LOGIC. It's the reason De La Hoya used to be the highest paid non-heavyweight boxer. Fans pay to watch him fight, period.

So much for David Haye's claim that he brings more money to the table than the Klitschkos.

              That's the heavyweights for you.

When Donaire fills an arena with 20k people and a *****load of tv revenue, he'd have a chance.

Klitschko's do this every time out so their opponents benefit from the bounty.

There seriously aren't many Michael Carbajal type fighters around in the lower weight classes these days

Guys that had huge promotions behind them and mass appeal unfortunately.

              Sad but true.

So true. Some people work their butts off all their lives and make peanuts; others waste away their talent, do little, and get paid so much more. Life ain't fair.

How does the UK tv revenue work, I've read many times some crazy amount of money made by Khan and the Klitschko brothers just in the UK. Why do fighters take a tv revenue share in the UK, HBO puts a budget for the fighters but they pay no revenue % to fighters or do they?

For example Khan, he is more of a US market guy, did he get paid his normal bout purse vs Maidana and on top of that got his share of the UK revenues?
