Other. I wish he had the business smarts and someone he could work with that would promote just him. This BS conflict is bad for boxing and him signing with either group is bad.

GBP only signed him to make arum mad. If nonito wanted to make the best fights possible, he should have stayed with arum. In house fights or not, the best competition around his weight is with arum. With GBP, he is going to sit idle wasting his talent. Sounds like he jumped at the sign of more money.

This shit is no brainer man. At least GBP matches their fighters up with each other. If Donaire re-signed with Top Rank it would take forever for Arum to throw guys like Gamboa and Lopez in the ring with him. Donaire can fight Mares if he wins against Agbeko or Agbeko if he wins against Mares. But he could fight Agbeko regardless of being with GBP or Top Rank. The point is that even Arum won't match his top fighters up with each other maybe except for Brandon Rios fighting whoever, but that's only because he's actually good while guys like Gamboa and Lopez look like hype.

Lopez is probably a bigger draw with the PR people so Arum can't risk that is all I'm saying. We may see a Gamboa-Donaire fight possibly but even that's iffy.

Not signing with Top Rank is always the right move.
