solis landed around 5 clean hooks and one great straight right

these were clean shots that landed

even wlad in the interview after said solis landed some good his and he thought this was going to be a tough fight

vitali landed nothing but 1 right near the end

True, but it doesn't really mean a lot when he got knocked down in the first round. It would have been scored a 10-8 round if he hadn't hurt his knee and there's no reason why you should take away a good shot that put him on the floor.

Plenty of examples of fighters that have had a good 3 minutes and then been completely dominated by the guy with the better jab - e.g. Tyson against Lewis.

I'm not quite sure Solis won the round but in no way shape or form did Vitaili dominate. Solis was moving using the ring well and Vitali was having trouble landing his jab, either hitting Solis' guard or thin air. Solis landed some nice counters imo. Definently a close round.

It was 10 9 round to Solis til he got knocked down to make it 10 8 for Klit but the fight was stopped so what difference does it make
