Big fan of Kessler but ring rust, injuries etc might cost him this fight. Kessler 5 years ago knocks Bute out.

Kessler is a good fighter- as he showed with Froch. He's been a champion with longevity and has racked up a lot of wins.

Yet, a slick Andre Ward handled Kessler fairly well, and Bute is a very slick fighter. Bute also goes to the body so hard that he has a chance of beating anyone at 168. Boxers says all the time how body shots are the most enduring and lethal of all punches.

Bute-Kessler will be a terrific fight with lots of action and drama, but at the end of the day, Bute will step up even more and knock Kessler out to put himself in line with the likes of Ward or Froch.

Bute was never in trouble vs Bika, show proof. Bika, Berrio, Zuniga, Miranda, Mock, Salem. What punchers has Froch faced?

Taylor dropped Froch yet couldn't hurt Spinks who had been KO'd by tiny Judah or Ouma who had been KD multiple times vs Karmazin. It took about 8 clean shots to drop Pavlik and he was up by 2.

I do agree that Kessler has the power to hurt Bute or any SMW, like he did Froch. You talking like Bute's chin is suspect is absurd as he's faced more punchers than probably any other SMW.
