Bute showed tonight that he is extremely hard to hit and goes hard to the body. Bute knocking people out to the body is getting to be common place. And with all the movement that he shows, it's very hard to time him.

Kessler looked downright discouraged post-fight. Wonder what he was thinking about?

We know Bute is good, but to know how good, he needs to take harder matches. Kessler should prove a good measuring stick.

Bute against Froch or Ward would be terrific. We should know by the end of the year or beginning of 2012 who the true champ at 168 is.

Bute isn't that hard to hit, but he is hard to hit flush. He is always far enough so that you touch him, but you don't have any power left on your punch. The only punch he got hit with flush tonight was a straight left (in the 3rd I think) that surprised him.

The only thing that bothers me with Bute is that he keeps his right hand so low. A guy like Dirrell would be fast enough to capitalize on that.

What are you joking? Bute would beat that ass. I mean Ward a very good boxer and all, But Bute has all the spped and power to go along with skill, ETC. Bute is the 4th best fighter P4P IMO.

Bute is damn slick and is killer body puncher. There is a reason they didnt want him in the Super 6. That is the reason for him spending the past year and a while fighting mandatories and the best none super 6 fights his promoters could find.

Bute got his head in the game a bit late. Frankly I wasn't as impressed as in his previous fights. He didn't try too much to open up Magee and a lot of his body shots didn't connect fully untill later on. In the second half of the fight it's like all he was thinking was *must KO*.

Magee faired well but Bute shouldn't approach his next fights like this. Even if he didn't get his head moved, he got tagged quite a ferw times by Magee.
