It was a glancing temple shot, and honestly, those can be the worst shots.
the punch landed on his GLOVE......the punch sc****d by his glove (which moved his head) & solis moved back, & then went down grabbing his knee......even vitali knew he didn't land anything, hints him attacking solis after he was down hahahaha

Wait so you're suggesting Solis faked his legs turning to jelly?

      Wow....

Vitali's punch made contact with the top of Solis's head, well above the temple. The blow was not blocked by Solis's glove. You clearly see Solis's head move. But, there's no way I believe that blow had enough on it to disorient Solis, much less knock him down. Klitschko was backing up and threw an arm punch. If the blow had actually connected with "SpongeBob's" temple, I might be inclined to believe the knockdown was legitimate.

        What a farce....

He also couldn't put up weight on his left leg. You can clearly see how his left leg wobbles while he holds on to the ropes.

YES I AM. solis was already payed & belly full from a decent crowed......he looked good in the first round so he would be able to request a rematch and get another pay (in his mind).......

ether he threw the fight or his leg really blew out......

if his leg blew out they would turn to jelly anyway because you can't stand up on a blown knee.....& that doesn't even have ANYTHING to do with being hurt.......

like I've said, you guys can believe what makes you feel better all you want.

Solis was hurt by the shot to the temple. There is no other explanation as to why his body suddenly became disoriented.

Solis was disoriented due to being staggered and hurt from Vitali's punch.

It was a glancing punch KO.

There is no leg, ankle or knee injury.

That was a straight up knockout due to glancing blow. Solis was buckled and hurt by shot, end of discussion.

Sometimes glancing shots like that can have a way of staggering or disorienting a fighter.
as soon as he went down he grabbed his knee. he wasnt dissoriented at all at that point. when he tried to get up his legs werent wobbly, his right leg just gave in when he tried to put weight on it. i dont see how anyone can look at solis trying to make it to his feet and say there wasnt a knee injury or that he was knocked out from the punch alone.

the punch stunned him, when he tried to regain his balance he twisted his knee and went down. watch him after he went down.

What I find interesting is he didn't seem to be hurt by the punch at all (didn't really look like it landed) Seems like something was up with his leg. Either that or he took a dive.

The replay shows that a strong solid punch from Vitali caused the knockout first, then injury came afterwards. I can't understand why the Solis' camp keep saying that the injury came first.

Vitali's power is one of the reasons why he's the best heavyweight champ at present.
