I've seen Nigel Benn throw harder punches than anybody 87-88, some of them sounded like a gun going off and the poor guys were out before they ever hit the canvas. Jackson's best KO was Herol Graham but we here in Britain saw our fair share of better ones than that all from Benn years previous. I think using weights in the late 80's onwards actually decreased Benn's speed and power which is a shame because he could really ****.

I think Julian Jackson is the hardest puncher of that group.

i say gerald mcclellan. 29 KOs in 31 victories, 20 in the 1st round. only 5 of his 34 fights didnt end in a KO victory.

          hats off to the G-Man.

There is some great punchers among those but i went for Jackson with Benn a close second followed closely by McClellan with some distance to the rest.

just going by what I've seen. Haven't seen but one McClellan fight. Only one Julian Jackson fight that I recall.

                    Jackson...

                    & by a mile !
He's the hardest puncher, lb4lb, in the history of the sport

He's the only one to score ONE-PUNCH KO's(concussive ones), consistently, over world-class opposition.

He scored them over Buster Drayton, who had never been stopped before. Norris, who's weak chin may have come from that shattering KO. Graham, in what was as horrific a KO as anyone has ever scored.
He also one-shot KO'd some b-level guys, like Francisco DeJesus, Augustino Cardamone, & Ismael Negron.

Nigel Benn can't carry Julian's jock as a puncher.
