Although I fully expect Degale to win as he is the more talented of the two, if he winds up losing he will look very silly as he and his trainer have completely written off Groves chances of winning long before the fight takes place.

Degale's trainer was fuming that groves wants this fight. ****** to think that Degale will knock him out in 1 though. Maybe by the 4th but that's a big ask.

I would be surprised if it was over inside 4 rounds. I think Groves will be stopped in the latter rounds, maybe 9th or 10th..

trust me james degale will not stop groves b4 the 4th or after cos groves will pick him apart and wear him down in the later rnds forcing a stoppage between 8th and 10th groves has and knows how to beat james defail and the fact that they have shown no respect to groves will make it more sweet on the night when he knocks that smug ****y arrogant git out

DeGale and his trainer seem to think he's this massive puncher, he's constantly saying "I'll knock you out" DeGale will never knock anyone 'out' because he isn't a big puncher and most of the time doesn't close his hands when he does punch. He's a slapper.

I'd love George to win but don't think he will, although I think Kenny Anderson was a tougher fight than Paul Smith was.

If you saw the way Paul Smith's head was snapping around when DeGale hit him, you'd know he can punch. He does slap a little sometimes.

              Groves will get stopped.

Jim McDonnell was a smart boxer himself but as a trainer he's strictly a conditioning coach, not a strategist or tactician. First round win? Hey, Degale should beat Groves but there's complacency there for sure and he might get a shock if he goes in without respect.

Great fight, this is what boxing should be about. Two great prospects risking their zero and not avoiding each other.

I've got DeGale, but I agree, he doesn't knock people out, he overwhelms them. Groves has more power but can be wild and open. It's a 50-50.
